Primary products were cereals, tropical fruits, vegetables, sugarcane, coconut, coffee, freshwater fish and livestock Home for T'boli tribe which is known for T'nalak cloth made of woven abaca fibers.

The region is known for its cultural destinations ranging from sanctuaries, beaches, forests, and lakes. Additionally, it is known for its river system becoming the catch basin of Mindanao.
